On Friday night and Saturday morning, another four devotees died at the Ijtema location in Tongi from issues related to aging.
According to the Gazipur Metropolitan Police, seven devotees have so far passed away at the Ijtema location during the first phase of the Ijtema.
The first phase will come to a close with Akheri Munajat tomorrow (Sunday).
Since 2012, the Ijtema has been hosted in two stages to reduce accommodation concerns. The same location will host the second phase of Ijtema from January 20 to 22.
