At least 14 people were killed and over 100 wounded in an explosion at a building in Old Dhaka’s Alu Bazar area on Tuesday.
Fire service officials said the explosion took place around 4:45pm near the BRTC bus counter.
Nine bodies and more than 100 injured have been brought to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
The cause of the explosion could not be known immediately.
