At least six people were killed and 30 others injured in a fire at a private oxygen plant in Seetakunda area of Chattogram on Saturday afternoon.
The fire orginated from Seema Oxygen Oxico Ltd in the area, killing six people and wounded over 30 others, report several private TV channels.
Fire service officials said they mobilised nine units of theirs to douse the fire and launched a salvage campaign but immediately could not confirm the casualty figures.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
