Bangladesh reported 2 new Covid-19 deaths and 89 new cases on the previous day, which ended at 8:00 am on Friday, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
They were both between the ages of 61 and 70 when they died. One of them lived in Gazipur, the other in the capital of Dhaka.
In the same 24 hours, the DGHS tested 1509 samples and recorded 89 incidences of Covid-19. The percentage of positive responses was 5.87.
The number of Covid patients has increased throughout the nation over the last few weeks while the government relaxed Covid-19 regulations, according to DGHS data.
