Bangladesh will accept if it is formally invited to join the BRICS, which is made up of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, according to Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen.
He also suggested that Bangladesh will probably join the BRICS in August of this year.
The 15th BRICS Summit will take place in South Africa from August 22–24, and the BRICS leaders are anticipated to participate.
During the BRICS Business Forum, they will interact with businesses, and at the summit, they will interact with the New Development Bank, the BRICS Business Council, and other organizations.
During the summit, South Africa will also host a BRICS Outreach and BRICS plus Dialogue to further engage with leaders from Africa and the global South.
Momen recommended that the BRICS members share their affordable technologies with the developing nations.
