In the fiscal year that concluded on December 31, Bank Asia Ltd. reported a profit gain of 12% year over year or Tk 305.47 crore. In 2021, the profit totaled Tk 272.82 crore.
As a result, the private commercial bank reported consolidated earnings per share of Tk 2.62 in 2022 as opposed to Tk 2.34 in 2021.
Bank Asia’s consolidated net asset value per share increased from Tk 23.33 in 2021 to Tk 24.41 in the most recent fiscal year, while consolidated net operating cash flow per share decreased from Tk 15.23 to Tk 13.82.
For 2022, the board of directors has suggested a 15% cash dividend. In the Dhaka Stock Exchange yesterday, shares of Bank Asia increased by 2.48 percent to Tk 20.70.
