Bangladesh Chhatra League men allegedly attacked Bangladesh Chhatra Odhikar Parishad activists this morning on the campus of Dhaka University, inflicting at least 10 injuries.
According to eyewitnesses, the BCL men launched the assault when Chhatra Odhikar Parishad activists began a procession toward TSC at around 10:45 am to commemorate its fifth anniversary.
A group of BCL members attacked them when they were holding their anniversary event and at least nine leaders and activists were hurt, according to Chhatra Odhikar Parishad.
However, BCL stated that general students were celebrating Comilla Victorians’ BPL victory when Chhatra Odhikar Parishad officials informed them that enjoying sports is against Islam. It added that they attacked the general students and harmed at least two students.
