In the early hours of Saturday morning in the Cox’s Bazar area, a collision between a Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) bus and a mini-pickup vehicle resulted in three fatalities and at least ten injuries.
On the route connecting Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar, the accident happened around 9:00 am. Nazrul Islam, 34; Md. Hamid Ullah, 29; and Jahangir Alam, 25, were the deceased.
According to witnesses, the pickup van was attempting to overtake a motorcycle on the highway when the collision happened.
The small pickup truck was making its way to Lohagara. When it got to Aziznagar, it collided with a BGB bus, causing three people to die instantly and ten more to sustain injuries.
According to police, the injured were sent to the Lohagara Upazila Health Complex. Both vehicles were seized.
