BNP lawmakers have submitted their resignations to Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury. Five BNP parliamentarians went to the National Parliament Secretariat today and submitted their resignations.
Md Aminul Islam of Chapainawabganj-2 Constituency, Md Mosharraf Hossain of Bogura-4, GM Siraj of Bogura-6, Zahidur Rahman of Thakurgaon-3, and Rumin Farhana of a reserved seat submitted the resignations in person today.
Chapainawabganj-3 MP Md Harunur Rashid being abroad, and Abdus Sattar of Brahmanbaria-2 falling ill, they could not submit the resignation letters in person.
However, the term of this Parliament is more than one year left.
