Metropolis Report-
In the thana and upazila levels of all major cities, including the capital Dhaka, BNP will organize a two-hour sit-in program today.
A sit-in program will be held to express opposition to rising energy and gas costs, the Awami League government’s ‘blanket corruption,’ and the 10-point demand for the restoration of democracy, which includes the resignation of the government.
The BNP headquarters announced that this program will be held concurrently in 128 thanas in 13 cities, including Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, and Sylhet, as well as at 650 locations across all upazilas of the nation.
The BNP will hold the sit-in program at 50 thanas in Dhaka City’s north and south. Top district leaders, former lawmakers, and BNP central leaders will all take part in this program.
