A man and his son were killed in a road accident on Bogura-Naogaon highway near Induil Bridge in Bogura’s Adamdighi upazila on Saturday morning.
The dead were Lokman Ali, 74, a resident of Satian village of the upazila, and his son Jahidur Rahman, 50.
The accident took place when a covered van of East Trust Online Courier Service hit their motorbike, leaving Jahidur Rahman dead on the spot and his father Lokman Ali seriously injured.
The injured later died at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Adamdighi Police Station Rezaul Karim.
