Vice-Chancellor Sharfuddin Ahmed officially opened the University of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU)’s online appointment system for patients from outside the campus.
Patients can make appointments in the department of their choice and at their convenience with the use of the system, which gives them priority access to doctor consultation services.
In the beginning, 1,650 patients are served daily by 43 departments that are covered by the online service.
Further improvements will be made gradually, and the number of departments covered will grow with time.
With the flexible time slots provided by the appointment system, patients can schedule appointments from 8:30 am to 9:29 am, 9:30 am to 10:29 am, 10:30 am to 11:29 am, and 12:30 pm to 1:29 pm.
