In the BUET Teachers Association Executive Council-2023 election, Civil Engineering Professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman was elected President, and Mechanical Engineering Professor Dr. AKM Manzoor Morshed was elected General Secretary.
Mizanur Rahman got 236 votes for the post of President, and AKM Manzoor Morshed got 232 votes for the position of General Secretary.
After the election was held on Tuesday, the results were announced at night.
Two candidates contested for the posts of President and General Secretary in the election. 373 out of a total of 447 voters voted for 13 positions.
