Electronic voting machines will be used for the April 27 by-elections for the Chattogram-8 constituency (EVM).
After today’s meeting of election commissioners, Election Commission Secretary Jahangir Alam released the election schedule.
The deadline for withdrawing from consideration is April 5, according to the secretary, while candidates have until March 27 to submit their nomination papers.
During the elections, no CCTV cameras will be deployed, he stated. After Muslemuddin’s passing, the Chattogram-8 constituency became vacant.
