The fire that started on Tuesday morning at a building in the Chawkbazar neighborhood of old Dhaka has now been brought under control.
According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room, seven firefighting units almost extinguished the fire around 12:05 pm.
At 10:45 am, a ceramic warehouse on the fourth floor of the five-story structure was reportedly on fire.
It was not possible to determine the fire’s origin right away. There have been no recorded casualties.
