China is interested in establishing a plant to build electric vehicles in Bangladesh, according to Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen.
The long-term partnership is in Bangladesh’s best interests, and following the construction of the Padma Bridge, China intends to make investments in the Western region’s infrastructure.
Following Bangladesh’s removal from the list of least developed nations (LDCs) in 2026, the envoy also has plans to grant tax benefits in the Chinese market.
China has no concerns about Bangladesh paying back its foreign debt and intends to increase its investment in southern region projects.
While China would not meddle in the internal issues of other nations, it is eager to teach Bangladeshi employees working on long-term development initiatives.
