Police recovered the throat-slit body of a college student from from a maize field in Bogura on Sunday.
The deceased was Ashik, an 11th grader student of Sherpur Degree College in Bogura. He was son of Shafiqul Islam Babu in Shajahanpur upazila.
Locals said Ashik went out of home with him friends on Saturday morning and since the he remained missing.
On information, police recovered the body from the maize field on Sunday afternoon, said Md Abdul Kader Zilani, officer-in-charge (OC) of Shajahanpur Police Station, adding that criminlas might have killed the college student by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon.
They were investigating into the incident, said the OC.
