On Thursday morning, Dhaka residents finally experienced rain, which provided relief from the heat that had been prevailing for the previous few days.
As the monsoon season has only recently reached Bangladesh’s coast, this rain cannot be considered monsoon rain.
Bangladesh’s coastal regions, seaports, and river systems are being battered by gale-force winds as a result of deep convective clouds that have formed in the Bay of Bengal region.
The local warning signal number 3 is to be displayed at four seaports, whereas signal number 1 is to be displayed in riverports. It has been requested that all trawlers and fishing vessels operating in the North Bay of Bengal approach the coast with caution.
The first signal should be displayed by ports in these places. Over West Bengal and the surrounding territories, a western low-pressure area is persistent.
Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Jessore, and Chuadanga districts are all experiencing heat waves.
