As Cyclone Midhili lashed Bangladesh’s beaches this evening, a tree branch fell on him in front of his house in Moghdhora village, Sandwip upazila, Chattogram.
According to police, the dead is Abdul Ohab, 65, of Moghdhora village in the upazila of Chattogram.
A tree branch fell on Ohab while he was standing outside his house during the storm at about 6:00 p.m., according to Shahidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sandwip Police Station. He died instantly.
