Tomorrow, the 27th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) will open at its new location in Purbachal, Dhaka. At a press conference held at the fair’s location today, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi announced the month-long DITF.
The fair will be officially opened at the location tomorrow by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Munshi stated at the briefing that 331 stalls and pavilions had been set up to display the goods at the fair.
To transport people between Kuril and the trade fair area, Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation has introduced 50 shuttle buses. The bus fare has been set at Tk 35 per person, and if it is paid using bKash, customers will receive a 50% discount.
The Export Promotion Bureau’s (EPB) vice chairman and CEO, AHM Ahsan, informed the media that the trade show would take place at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre (BBCFEC) in Purbachal, Dhaka, this year.
The fair’s entrance charge will be Tk 40 for adults and Tk 20 for children, he added.
