This morning, a 5.2 on the Richter scale moderate earthquake rattled Dhaka and other regions of the nation.
The center of the earthquake, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), was in the Bay of Bengal. The depth of the earthquake’s origin was 10 kilometers.
Around 9 am on Monday, Chattogram, Dhaka, and other parts of the country felt the tremors (5 December).
According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, the earthquake originated from the Bay of Bengal, 520 kilometers southwest of the monitoring station in Agargaon, Dhaka.
No accidents or injuries have yet been recorded.
