The Islamic Foundation set the minimum Fitra amount for this year at Tk 115. Tk 2,640 per person is the upper limit.
The National Fitra Fixing Committee made the decision on Sunday during a meeting held in the conference room of the Islamic Foundation.
Head of the National Fitra Fixing Committee and Khatib of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Hafez Maulana Mufti Mohammad Ruhul Amin presided over the meeting.
The minimal and maximum amounts of Fitra were set at Tk 75 and 2,310, respectively, last year.
