Metropolis Report-
From next month, the public won’t experience significant hardship due to gasoline and energy shortages, prime minister Sheikh Hasina stated Wednesday.
She mentioned that most wealthy nations were attempting to conserve energy.
“For a few days, we, too, had to endure pain. Inshallah, there won’t be any more pain from the following month.”
At a meeting of her party’s advisory council held at the Gono Bhaban, Hasina, the president of the ruling Awami League, voiced her hope.
Sources added that during the discussion, advisors recommended that AL President Sheikh Hasina assess the party’s seasoned and senior leaders and give them preference in nominations and party appointments.
They suggested issuing party tickets based on grassroots support.
