Md Golam Rasul, who is currently serving as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Special Branch, has been appointed as the Additional Inspector General (current charge) of Police for the Special Branch.
His appointment as the head of the Special Branch was officially confirmed through an order issued by the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday.
