Awami League Joint General Secretary and Information Minister Hasan Mahmud commented that the government does not want elections like those of 2014 or 2018. He said that the government does not want elections like those of 2014 or 2018 to be held again in the country. The government wants a participatory and competitive election.

Commenting that Awami League wants to win by playing, the Information Minister said, Awami League is a strong party and does not want a walkover in the elections. He made this comment at the current affairs briefing at the secretariat on Monday (December 26) at noon.

The information minister said that the government wants a participatory and competitive election. But it is not the government’s responsibility to remove the fear of the BNP. It is not Awami League’s responsibility to remove BNP’s electoral fear. It is their duty to come to the election.
