Former National Cricket Team Captain Tamim Iqbal in Critical Condition, on Life Support
Tamim Iqbal, the former captain of Bangladesh’s national cricket team, collapsed during a match in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) on March 24 at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP). While fielding in the game between Shinepukur and Mohammedan, Tamim suddenly felt unwell and started experiencing severe chest pain.
He was immediately given first aid at BKSP, but his condition worsened, prompting his transfer to a local hospital. As his situation continued to deteriorate, he was placed on life support.
Doctors are attempting to transport Tamim to Dhaka by helicopter, but due to his current condition, they are finding it challenging to move him.
