Following a meeting with the head of EU foreign policy in Beijing on Friday, China’s foreign minister Wang Yi stated that “historical injustice” against the Palestinian people was the root of the Israel-Hamas conflict.
After a discussion with Josep Borrell, Wang stated, “The main causes of this issue are the protracted delay in achieving Palestine’s goal to create an independent state and the fact that the historical injustice experienced by the Palestinian people has not been addressed.”
