Hossein Selahvarzi, the recently elected head of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture, met with Bangladesh’s ambassador in Tehran to talk about resolving banking and transportation concerns.
Both nations regret not taking advantage of their economic potential and acknowledged their shared historical and cultural heritage.

He also underlined the necessity of an economic joint committee between Iran and Bangladesh.
The Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and the Iran Chamber of Commerce have agreed to work together to promote business delegations between the two countries.
