Accused of involvement in militancy, Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Ameer Dr. Md Shafiqur Rahman has been arrested.
Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) reported this. Before this, on November 9, the CTTC bomb disposal unit arrested his son, Dr. Rafat Chowdhury, from Sylhet.
On Tuesday (December 13) morning, CTTC Chief told the media this information.
A team of detective police arrested him from the Bashundhara residential area of the capital on Monday (December 12) at 1 am.
