Brazil Football fans held a joyous rally with a 200-foot Brazil flag in Bogura. It was organized under the banner of the Brazil Fans Club to wish their favorite team well.
The rally started at the Altafunnesa playground in Bogura Sadar on Friday afternoon. Around 1,000 Brazil fans took part in it. Circling the city’s main roads, the rally ended again at the Altafunnesa playground. Various banners and festoons, along with flags of Bangladesh and Brazil, were seen in the hands of the football fans who participated in it. Multiple slogans were chanted for the Brazil football team. The entire city resounded in chants of ‘Brazil, Brazil.’
Among the rally organizers were businessman Touhid Parvez Biplab and Parimal Prasad Raj.
The joy rally was organized to encourage Brazil from afar. In the game, someone wins, someone loses; this is the rule. This time, the World Cup trophy, the rally organizers hoped, would go to Brazil.
The FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be held in Qatar from November 20. Thirty-two teams will participate in it. Like in the rest of the country, there is a festive mood in Bogura as well during the World Cup in Qatar.
