To encourage farmers to enhance jute production, the government will provide incentives worth Tk 8.10 crore.
According to the plan, 400,000 small, marginal, and medium farmers will receive free jute seeds from the agricultural ministry, according to a press statement issued today.
According to the announcement, each farmer would receive 1 kilogram of jute seed for the cultivation of 1 bigha of land.
According to the agriculture ministry, the distribution of jute seeds will shortly start at the field level.
