Due to the admission test under the cluster system, Khulna University’s first-year classes have been delayed for two consecutive years. Despite publishing the seventh consecutive merit list, they did not get students to fill all seats.
Khulna University has lost its charm by participating in the system. However, the university authorities say that though the first-year classes started late, their term will be completed on time and coordinated with the rest of the year.
Classes will be conducted online if required. The university authorities have decided in a meeting about these matters.
It is known that students have been admitted in about 800 seats out of 1109 up to the seventh merit list of the university.
