In the Marib province of Yemen, the Saudi humanitarian organization KSrelief has just started seven environmental cleaning initiatives.
To construct and update Marib’s water systems, the organization is working with UNICEF. Additionally, the camp for displaced people run by a community college will get a new sanitation system. The water system, primary water tank, and line pump are among the projects in Harib. A total of 145,000 displaced people and members of the host community will benefit from these initiatives.
Abd-Rabbu Miftah, the deputy governor of Marib, praised the Kingdom’s humanitarian efforts to support displaced and impacted families in Marib through KSrelief and stressed the significance of these initiatives, which he said “alleviate the suffering of those in need in Yemen.”
As part of an emergency aid effort carried out in collaboration with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, KSrelief also delivered fishing gear, including containers and life vests, to Yemeni fishermen in the Al-Mahrah governorate. According to KSrelief, the project, which helps 3,000 fishermen, will contribute to improving the men’s living conditions and supplying the local market with high-quality products.
The Saudi Pulse campaign, which lasted three days, was just finished by the agency at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital in the Al-Mahra governorate. For open-heart surgery, diagnostic, and therapeutic catheterization treatments, the campaign saw more than 20 patients every day.
Al-Mahrah governor Mohammed Ali Yasser commended the Kingdom for putting together such initiatives to support patients in the province.
