Md Anwar Shawkat Afser, president of the Latin America-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LABCCI), met Franco Austin Senilliani Melchior, Head of the Economic and Trade Office of the Embassy of Argentina from New Delhi visited Intercontinental Hotel in Dhaka on Monday.
LABCCI Board of Directors also met the Argentine business delegate who visited Dhaka. The following LBCCI Board of Directors were present in the business meeting, said a press release.
The president highlighted the bi-lateral trade and commerce between Bangladesh and Argentina as well as Latin America.
He also mentioned that a high profile business delegate from LABCCI will organize a business delegation to Argentina and Brazil from Bangladesh during 12-17 May.
The delegation will be jointly organized by Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and Latin America-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LABCCI). Salman Fazlur Rahman, MP, Advisor to Prime Minister, Private Industry and Investment, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), gave his kind consent to lead this delegation. The Executive Chairman of BIDA and BEZA will also take part in the event.
