Metropolis Desk-
Facebook’s ad agency, Httpool, has announced the temporary suspension of its services and the limited availability of ad space on the Meta platform, which is a significant blow for businesses in Bangladesh.
This action was taken after the majority of the agency’s clients had their ad spend limits reduced as a result of the agency’s inability to transfer or clear any payments from Bangladesh.
Httpool explained the current predicament to its clients in a letter by citing a scarcity of USD money and problems sending money abroad.
Due to the agency’s restricted supply of ad space on the platform, less space may be available for new campaigns, and current and upcoming ads may be rejected or blocked.
All f-commerce companies will be hard-hit by the change, but those who rely on Facebook media buying will be most affected.
Sunny Nagpal, the director of Httpool Bangladesh Limited, said that although the circumstance was out of the agency’s hands, the business was making every effort to find a quick solution.
Businesses in Bangladesh that rely on Facebook have expressed anxiety and displeasure over the restrictions on advertising on the Meta platform in response to the revelation. Many have asked Httpool to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
