Metropolis Report-
Following the deepening of the depression over the southeast Bay and surrounding areas, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla, and Payra maritime ports have been recommended to maintain hoisted distant cautious signal number 1.
Approximately 1,550 kilometers south of Chattogram Port, 1,470 kilometers south of Cox’s Bazar Port, 1,550 kilometers south-southeast of Mongla Port and 1,505 kilometers south-southeast of Payra Port were where it was centered at 6:00 am today.
Until tomorrow, it is anticipated to become much stronger and proceed in a north-northwesterly direction. After that, it will probably slowly recurve and continue northward.
Within 48 km of the center of the deep depression, the maximum sustained wind speed is around 50 kph, with gusts or squalls increasing it to 60 kph. Near the deep depression’s center, the sea will continue to be calm.
The North Bay and deep sea have been issued a warning to all fishing vessels and trawlers, advising them to continue cautiously and keep a close eye on the coastline. Not going into the deep sea is also advised.
