The metro train will now operate six days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. According to Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), the metro rail began operating on the new schedule yesterday morning.
The metro rail’s weekly closure will be moved from Tuesday to Friday following the new schedule. Every 15 minutes from 11:01 am to 3:00 pm (off-peak), every 10 minutes from 3:01 pm to 6:00 pm (peak), and every 15 minutes from 6:01 pm to 8:00 pm (off-peak) are the train schedules.
Previously, Dhaka Metro Rail was open from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. DMTCL has announced that metro rail services will be suspended on Eid-ul-Azha
