The stations of Uttara South and Sewrapara will open in the final week of this month, while Kazipara and Mirpur 11 will open on March 15.
At a press conference on Thursday, MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transport Company Ltd, revealed the details.
He claimed that as of Wednesday, 7.9 lakh individuals have utilized the facility, generating Tk 4.76 crore for the government.
In addition, he stated that they would begin extending the train’s operation time once all nine stations were open and that full-fledged service would begin in July. Metro trains are now run from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
