A day after the inauguration (December 29), the Agargaon station saw a massive rush of passengers collecting tickets from the morning. Passengers waiting at the station expressed their feelings that the Metrorail is one of the mega projects of Bangladesh.
On Thursday (December 29) at 8 am, the first train left the capital’s Uttara Diabari station for Agargaon. However, the metro rail did not leave Agargaon station even after an hour had passed from the scheduled time.
Going to the ticket counter after 8:30 am, it was found that the vending machine was temporarily broken.
Around 8:35 am, the machine went wrong shortly after the passengers entered and began to collect tickets. Later, an instruction from the station told them to buy tickets from the counter.
