During practice in Sylhet, Mehdi Hasan Miraz suffered an injury. While warming up with a football at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in the morning, the in-form all-rounder was struck in the eye by the ball. The cricketer was afterward brought to a hospital for scans.
Fortunately, Miraz’s CT scan turned up nothing alarming. But as an extra precaution, he was transported to see an ophthalmologist.
Tomorrow is the start of the three-game ODI series versus Ireland at this location. Miraz skipped the prior day’s optional practice session.
