The Mongla Port Authority has given warm reception to 30 Indian tourists boarded on MV Ganga Villas, a luxurious five-star ship.
Earlier, the luxurious Indian tourists’ ship along with 30 tourists was anchored at Jetty No. 7 of Mongla Port around 2:00pm on Saturday.
State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury welcomed the tourists and spoke as the chief guest.
Pranoy Verma, High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, also spoke as special guest with Rear Admiral Mir Ershad Ali, chairman of Mongla Port, in the chair.
