Police in the Dutch port city of Rotterdam reported that a shooter murdered several persons on Thursday after opening fire at a university classroom there.
Police reported that shots had been fired at the Rotterdam Medical Center and a nearby home on social media, leading to the arrest of a 32-year-old suspect. Additionally, they said that both locations had fires.
As heavily armed arrest teams arrived in the area, cops were seen in videos telling students to run outdoors.
Two hours later, authorities reported that there had been several fatalities and that the victims’ families had been notified.
