According to a survey, a new category of cybercrimes has grown significantly in Bangladesh, including bogus job promises fraud, unlawful lending using online platforms, and carrying out fraudulent operations through applications.
According to a survey titled “Cyber Crime Trends in Bangladesh,” such cybercrimes have grown by 381.76 percent over the course of a year.
On Saturday, the Dhaka Reporters Unity in the capital hosted an event where the Cyber Crime Awareness Foundation unveiled the study. For the paper, a survey of 217 victims of cybercrime was conducted.
