Finally, on February 24, Pathaan will be released in Bangladesh. The Ministry of Information stated today at a news conference that the movie had received approval for a nationwide release.
The 19 organizations involved in the film industry reached a consensus allowing Hindi movies to be shown in all cinemas in Bangladesh.
The import of Hindi movies into Bangladesh is not something that these groups are seeking to prevent. During the conversation, they also recommended that 10 Hindi movies be shown in Bangladeshi theaters each year.
Shah Rukh Khan returns to the big screen after almost four years with this Siddharth Anand-directed movie. In the film, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone both play prominent parts, and Salman Khan also had a brief appearance.
