Louis Vuitton, the French billion-dollar luxury fashion giant, has done this. They brought LM10 and CR7 in the same picture, published it on the internet, and boom!
The post instantly went viral and is regarded as the most-liked post in the history of Instagram racing 10 million likes just within 30 minutes. The two brightest stars in the history of football came together to pose in an ad for Louis Vuitton. In the picture, they are seen attentively playing chess on a briefcase made by Louis Vuitton. That’s it!
The picture will bring billions of dollars in the next few weeks. Both Messi and Ronaldo posted the picture on their own Instagram pages. Captioning the same as Louis Vuitton’s Twitter page writing: “Victory is a State of Mind”.
Messi, with 375 million followers on Instagram, got 23 million likes, and Ronaldo, with 499 million Instagram followers, got 29 million likes till this new publication. Sports enthusiasts and sports media all over the world started reading aloud as soon as it was posted on Louis Vuitton’s Twitter page. Just before one day of the World Cup, this picture snatched the attraction of all.
Some said: one picture, 12 Ballon D’Ors, 1402 goals, 9 Champions Leagues, 555 assists, and 16 years of excitement. Some said, “This is Legendary”. In his explosive interview with Piers Morgan on TalkTV, Ronaldo talked about his relationship with Messi and had nothing but good things to say about the 35-year-old.
He said, “Amazing player, magic, top… As a person, we share the stage for 16 years, imagine, 16 years. We share. So, I have a great relationship with him. Both are entering the world cup having a sky-high dream. Both declared that this is the last world cup for them. Messi is beautiful as long as the Ronaldo rivalry is there, and Ronaldo is shining as long as the Messi rivalry is there. Both won one major trophy each for their national team (Ronaldo won EURO in 2016, and Messi won Copa America in 2021).
