A plane carrying four people crashed in the center of the Philippines on Sunday. Rescue workers are searching for survivors.
The Cessna 340 aircraft vanished early on Saturday morning, not long after taking off for Manila from Bicol International Airport, south of the nation’s capital, according to a statement from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.
The aviation regulator noted that there were four persons on board, including the pilot and a crew member.
According to a CAAP spokesperson, a local search and rescue team has discovered a potential crash site close to the airport, and the issue is that the weather is bad, which hinders the visibility of the ground search.
