The inaugural session of the third Qatar Economic Forum was attended by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. On the invitation of Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Sheikh Hasina traveled to Qatar yesterday to take part in the summit, which will be hosted at the Fairmont & Raffles Hotels in Doha’s Lusail city from May 23–25.
The major goal of the conference is to increase international cooperation in order to find a solution to the many-sided problems and crises that the world is currently experiencing, as well as the negative economic effects that result from them.
She will speak to Qatar University students later in the day and meet separately with the Qatari prime minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the president of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, the Qatari minister of state for energy affairs, Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, and the minister of investment from Saudi Arabia, Khalid A. Al-Falih. The prime minister will also be present at the gala dinner for the Qatar Economic Forum.
