Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of veteran politician Pankaj Bhattacharya, one of the organisers of the Great Liberation War and Oikya NAP President.
In a message of condolence, she prayed for salvation of his departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, reports BSS.
Pankaj Bhattacharya breathed his last at a hospital in the capital Dhaka around 12.25am today. He was 83.
