To attend the two-day “World of Work Summit: Social Justice for All,” Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina flew from Dhaka to Geneva, Switzerland.
The premier will speak to the Summit’s Plenary at the Palais de Nations after calling UNHCR Director Flippo Grandi and Swiss Confederation President Alain Berset.
She will also attend a dinner with important dignitaries and speak on the phone with Malta’s President, Dr. George Vella. Hasina will be present at a community event in Dhaka, the World Economic Forum, and a meeting with WTO DG Dr. Okonjo-Iweala.
The prime minister will arrive in Dhaka on June 17 in the early morning. The idea to establish a Global Coalition for Social Justice will be discussed at the World of Work Summit 2023: Social Justice for All.
