During a meeting with Tony Blair, the former British prime minister and executive chairman of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked for British support in modernizing Bangladesh’s railway system.
Blair expressed hope about Bangladesh’s future development and commended Hasina for the socioeconomic and physical improvements the nation has made.
By 2041, Hasina’s government wants to see Bangladesh become a developed nation, with an emphasis on ICT growth, said the premier.
